Hang in there. You'll get it all the way you like it. I've been working on studio improvements since 2009 when I started making dolls. Every time I rearranged, I incorporated something new I'd learned--about where stuff should be, how much I need "this" out where I can see it and "that" stowed away. My studio now is vertical--all four walls, shelves to the ceiling--and a big work table in the middle. I love it. Glad you get a new room!

Thanks SO much Jan for the encouragement ,Right now that is exactly what I needed.Yep me back is feeling all the lugging and lifting. But that's ok, Like you said I have been looking around like at HGTV,DYI for organizing ,Have come up with some new idea's.My problem is I use those nice size totes /bins for fabric, etc BUT I have a tote for Big pieces of fabric, then a tote/bin for just lace, what I am trying to say is I got TO organized and need to not spread every thing out so thin..Can't wait to get er done though,Thank You for your comment Have a Happy Thanksgiving !!

I used to use bins...but having to haul them out to go through them got to be too much. The hubs got some super cheap particle board, some L-brackets, and made shelves about 14" apart up two walls. That way I could keep the fabric out where I could see it. It does take discipline to put stuff back, but then it does w/ bins, too. I'd be happy to send photos to you if there's an email I could send them to.
Cheers!

Thank You Jan, I have found out now, Bins are not the way to go.Just now am sorting them and trying to down size or place more into a bin. Building shelves like you said sounds like the way to go, Just having to dig bin after bin lifting to get to the one of course that is on the bottom is a pain in the neck and back :).I will ask my hubby to build me shelves like you did,THANK YOU!!
