Altered art is a correct term for work like mine, also collage and mixed media. I've got three links you can check out, they should keep you busy for a long time! ;-) And you can always google any of those terms for a lot more, but these 3 have great information and eye candy and links and are some of my favorite and also I think while they might be a bit overwhelming if you try to gulp it all at one bite, they are good links for someone beginning.
